Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Zoolander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyoto Maia is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Derek Zoolander!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyoto Maia!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoolander tests Maia's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Maia wants to land a leg kick but Zoolander is out of range.
Zoolander thows a body shot but no joy.
Zoolander fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Maia throws a jab when Zoolander was well out of range.
Maia tries a low kick but Zoolander avoids it.
A combination from Zoolander does no damage.
Maia tries to work over Zoolander's front leg with a kick but Zoolander checks it.
Maia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zoolander moves away.
Maia lands a nice leg kick that just misses Zoolander's sensitive parts.
Zoolander works the jab nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some bone on bone action there as Maia checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Zoolander throws out a loose jab but Maia uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zoolander looks for the body kick but Maia saw that one coming.

Zoolander pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Maia back to the cage. Zoolander follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Maia wants to improve his position but Zoolander is controlling well.

Zoolander postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Maia looks a forlorn figure.

Zoolander is landing with some decent strikes but Maia is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Zoolander postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Maia in real trouble here! The ref calls for Maia to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
