Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bihn Nahm Tram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafael Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bihn Nahm Tram!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tram tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva checks a leg kick.
Tram misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Tram shows good takedown defense.
Tram throws a low kick but it's checked well by Silva.
Silva avoids the head kick by Tram.

Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tram won't allow Silva to sweep him here.

Tram stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Silva throws a low kick but Tram avoids it.

and Tram counters with an outside leg kick.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tram's waist but Tram gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Tram or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
Tram moves out of range as Silva throws a body kick.

Tram throws the kick towards the body but Silva avoids it.
Tram throws a wild body kick that Silva sees coming a mile off.
Tram jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tram throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tram scores with a takedown into Silva's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Tram is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tram works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Tram thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head.
Tram has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tram thows a huge punch but Silva dodges it nicely.
Tram passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva!

Tram wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely.
Tram has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tram postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silva looks a forlorn figure.
Tram is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tram cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Silva is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Tram postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silva looks a forlorn figure.

Silva is rocked!
Tram lands a nice shot to the head.
Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tram cracks Silva with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
