Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Ewing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ewing comes to the cage accompanied by B.o.B. - Created A Monster. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ewing changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Murray looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ewing tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ewing has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ewing creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Murray sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Ewing has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ewing here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Murray shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ewing napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Ewing's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ewing fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Murray avoids it really well and circles away.

Murray misses with a takedown attempt - Ewing sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ewing's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Ewing stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Ewing keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Raul Ewing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Murray.
Ewing uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Murray.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Murray takes a swing at Ewing's ribcage but misses.
Ewing shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Murray but Murray pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ewing looks to throw the jab but Murray is out of range.
