The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Guzman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rock was well out of range. Poor timing from De Guzman.
Rock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
De Guzman works Rock's body with a nice hook.
De Guzman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rock moves away.
Rock scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Rock darts in and clinches De Guzman up against the cage.

De Guzman breaks from the clinch.
Rock tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but De Guzman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rock scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
De Guzman misses with a jab, cross combination.
De Guzman fails to land with a series of punches.
Rock lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jab, jab by Rock - just one landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping De Guzman at a distance.

and Rock counters with a three punch combo that has De Guzman backing up. De Guzman nods at Rock to acknowledge the strikes.
De Guzman is still on wobbly legs! Can Rock finish him?
Rock cracks De Guzman with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! De Guzman falls to his knees and Rock doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
