The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkoff takes a swing at Wein's ribcage but misses.

Wein has closed the distance and engaged Volkoff in a clinch.
Volkoff looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Volkoff's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Volkoff moves out of range as Wein strikes.
Volkoff misses with a series of wild punches.
Wein misses with a hook.
Wein is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Volkoff.
Wein is looking to slow Volkoff down with leg kicks.
Volkoff stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wein.

Volkoff ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Wein takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Volkoff throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Volkoff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Volkoff pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wein is out of range and Volkoff settles back down.
Volkoff misses with a head kick.
Wein throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Volkoff.
Volkoff misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice combination there by Wein.

It looks like Vladimir Volkoff has been cut.
Wein blocks a leg kick.
A combination from Wein does no damage.
Volkoff scores with a decent looking hook.

Vladimir Volkoff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A looping hook to the body misses from Wein. Volkoff does a little dance to reset his feet.

Volkoff moves away from the strike by Wein.
Wein misses with a hook.
Volkoff misses with a leg kick.
Volkoff misses with an attempted mid kick.
Volkoff will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wein moves out of range of the body kick.
Volkoff throws a head kick that Wein semi-blocks.
Wein throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Wein lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Volkoff circles away quickly and effectively.
Wein moves in looking to clinch but Volkoff pushes him off.
Wein thuds a left hand into Volkoff's body.

Oooooh!!! Volkoff has knocked Wein down with a huge combo! Volkoff steps away and waves a wobbly Wein back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Wein takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wein is breathing heavily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wein is defended easily by Volkoff.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Volkoff lands a big head kick that sends Wein tumbling to the mat! Volkoff takes a step backwards and waves Wein back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Volkoff. Wein shrugs it off though.
Volkoff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Volkoff lands a left and a right that send Wein crashing to the mat, dazed. Volkoff thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Wein is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
