Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carvalho kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is When We Ride . The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tank takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Tank looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Mike Tank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carvalho has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tank uses from the top position.

Tank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carvalho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carvalho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tank gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carvalho throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carvalho wants to stand and escape but Tank is having none of it.

Carvalho is looking to sinch up a triangle. Tank throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Carvalho's body to avoid the submission. Carvalho has instead reached around Tank's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Carvalho arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
