The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzian shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rua defends it nicely.
Pudzian fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pudzian closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rua circles away.

Rua lands a left and a right that send Pudzian crashing to the mat, dazed. Rua thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Pudzian is rocked!

It looks like Johny Pudzian has been cut.
Pudzian looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rua is fending him off so far but Pudzian persists. Nope, Rua circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Pudzian is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pudzian shoots in and drives through. Rua sprawls well.
Pudzian is breathing heavily.
Pudzian will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pudzian is defended easily by Rua.
Rua lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pudzian - he's out on his feet here! Rua follows up with another monster hook that separates Pudzian from consciousness! Pudzian falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rua stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
