The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
the preditor fails to land the takedown.
Reed fails with the takedown
and the preditor counters by clinching up.
the preditor has clasped his hands together around Reed's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reed is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
the preditor is pressing down on Reed's thigh, looking to free his foot. Reed is holding on for now.
the preditor trying to control from Reed's half guard. Reed has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

the preditor stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Reed has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! the preditor manages to get his head free but now Reed has transitioned to an armbar! the preditor grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Reed! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
