Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jko Ntsaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Riggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jko Ntsaa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Riggins!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ntsaa scores a takedown into full mount!
Ntsaa tries to control but Riggins wriggling away.
Ntsaa looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Riggins is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ntsaa content just to control the position here.
Ntsaa trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Riggins gets back to half guard.
Riggins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ntsaa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Riggins is controlling Ntsaa's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Riggins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jko Ntsaa.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Riggins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ntsaa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Riggins is in Ntsaa's guard.

Ntsaa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Riggins wants to control from the top but Ntsaa keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andy Riggins.

Ntsaa is desperately trying to improve his position but Riggins has a good base and remains in mount.
Riggins avoids the attempt from Ntsaa to control.

Riggins looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jko Ntsaa will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Ntsaa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riggins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Riggins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ntsaa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Riggins's guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ntsaa is pushing down on Riggins's leg trying to pass to half guard. Riggins is fighting to maintain full guard but Ntsaa has managed to sneak the leg through.
Riggins is trying to maintain the position but Ntsaa is very close to passing his half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ntsaa is looking for a kimura but Riggins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ntsaa to get the leverage.

Riggins is controlling Ntsaa's trapped leg to prevent Ntsaa from advancing to side control.

and Riggins counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ntsaa's knee momentarily.

Riggins moves into the clinch successfully.
Ntsaa blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ntsaa is working for takedown but Riggins is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jko Ntsaa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Riggins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Riggins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Riggins tries to control but Ntsaa wriggling away.

Riggins is working for a guillotine from mount but Ntsaa frees his head quite easily.
Riggins lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Riggins is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ntsaa can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ntsaa wants to hold on but Riggins pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andy Riggins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Riggins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ntsaa is trying to defend but Riggins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ntsaa is looking for a sweep. Riggins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ntsaa wants to control but Riggins is keeping busy.

Riggins seems to be looking for submissions.
Ntsaa landing small, sideways elbows.

Ntsaa won't allow Riggins to pass to mount.
Riggins is keen to just control but Ntsaa is a slippery customer.
Riggins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Riggins is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Riggins tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Ntsaa.
Riggins is controlling the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Riggins throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Jko Ntsaa has been cut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ntsaa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Riggins tries to bench press Ntsaa off him but Ntsaa keeps the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Riggins can do anything to dispel that myth.
Riggins is trying to get back to his feet.
Ntsaa wants to control but Riggins is keeping him busy.
Riggins pushes Ntsaa away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ntsaa gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Riggins is not content to let Ntsaa control the position.
Riggins struggling a bit here.

Ntsaa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Riggins keeps working.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Riggins sneaks out the side door and pushes Ntsaa away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Ntsaa looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ntsaa is trying to control the action in half guard but Riggins is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Andy Riggins.
Well Riggins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
