Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Forza Gr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryosuke Takahashi!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi dodges the punch combination from Gr.
Gr turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gr throws a right hand that Takahashi ducks under and follows up with a left that Takahashi also avoids with ease.
Takahashi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gr tries to avoid it but Takahashi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gr to the ground. Gr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gr rushes Takahashi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Takahashi tries to pull guard but Gr won't allow it.

Forza Gr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryosuke Takahashi.
Takahashi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gr smiles and moves away.
Takahashi shoots in but Gr avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Takahashi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gr swivels and escapes.
Takahashi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gr sprawls well. Gr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Takahashi gets slowly back to his feet.
Gr swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Takahashi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gr can pounce on him.
Gr clinches up with Takahashi and pushes him back against the cage.
Takahashi tries to pull guard but Gr holds him up against the cage and eventually Takahashi drops back down to his feet.

Takahashi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gr prevents it.

Gr throws a series of strikes that have Takahashi backpedaling.

Takahashi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Takahashi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Gr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Gr tries to bum rush Takahashi with a series of wild strikes but Takahashi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gr misses with the combination.
Gr feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Takahashi's calf.
Gr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takahashi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gr moves into the clinch.
Gr has Takahashi pushed against the cage.
Gr breaks the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gr fails to land with a series of punches.
Gr slaps away a takedown attempt from Takahashi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gr misses with a series of wild punches.
Takahashi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gr controlling from the top position.
Gr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gr is pushing down on Takahashi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Takahashi is fighting to maintain full guard but Gr has managed to sneak the leg through.
Takahashi is breathing heavily.
Takahashi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gr pulls his head out easily.
Gr is controlling the pace.

Takahashi is refusing to be controlled, as Gr sits in half guard.
Gr seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Takahashi is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
