Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marx da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machete Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think da Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Solid Sessions - Janeiro (Chiller Twist Mix) . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from da Silva misses.
da Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Trejo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Trejo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Trejo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around da Silva's waist but da Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trejo off to one side.
da Silva throws a body punch but Trejo moves out of range.
Trejo avoids a punch combination nicely.
da Silva digs a good hook to Trejo's body.
da Silva throws a quick inside leg kick.
da Silva swings for the body but Trejo moves out of range.
da Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marx da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
da Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Trejo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
da Silva ducks under a wild hook from Trejo.
da Silva with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
da Silva misses with a body shot.
A slow jab from Trejo misses its intended target.
Trejo checks the leg kick nicely there.
Trejo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A solid leg kick lands there for da Silva.

da Silva missing with a left hand there. Trejo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Trejo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
da Silva tries to work over Trejo's front leg with a kick but Trejo checks it.

da Silva rushes Trejo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
da Silva prevents a body shot from Trejo.
da Silva misses with a knee strike.

da Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Trejo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip da Silva to the mat. da Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trejo is trying to control the action in half guard but da Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Trejo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Trejo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Trejo lands a heavy elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trejo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Trejo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
