Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Fricke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Rosalando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fricke's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drowning Pool - Bodies. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Rosalando throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fricke is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A punch combination from Fricke misses.
Rosalando uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fricke.
Rosalando punishes Fricke's body with a nice straight punch.
Fricke lands a right hook to the body.
Fricke gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fricke throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rosalandos head.
Rosalando tries to work over Fricke's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fricke gets underhooks to prevent Rosalando's takedown attempt.

It looks like Glen Rosalando has been cut.

Rosalando has Fricke pressed against the cage, preventing Fricke from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Fricke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fricke misses with a few strikes there.
Fricke tries to clinch but Rosalando is having none of it.
Fricke wants to clinch up but Rosalando keeps it at a distance.
Fricke moves in looking to clinch but Rosalando pushes him off.

Fricke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rosalando. Rosalando circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Rosalando counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Rosalando must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fricke is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fricke is trying to control the action in half guard but Rosalando is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Fricke is taking a breather. Rosalando says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Fricke is keen to just control but Rosalando is a slippery customer.
We're going to have a standup here because Ryan Fricke wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Rosalando counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fricke thinking.

and Rosalando counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fricke clinches but Rosalando breaks the clinch
and Rosalando counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Fricke is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rosalando is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fricke has his hands on Rosalando's head, controlling the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Ryan Fricke wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Rosalando throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Fricke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rosalando moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rosalando connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fricke's hands.

and Rosalando counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fricke thinking.
Rosalando throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fricke on the side of the head.
Rosalando fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fricke sprawls well initially but Rosalando persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fricke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rosalando throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Fricke avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rosalando.
Fricke gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Fricke will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Glen Rosalando's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rosalando moves into range and clinches up with Fricke.
Fricke throws a head punch that misses.
Fricke lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Fricke - that landed with a thud.
Rosalando can't get the takedown.

Fricke gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rosalando.

Ryan Fricke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Rosalando.
Fricke lands a hook to the side of the head.
Fricke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Fricke has cracked Rosalando with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Fricke lands another huge swinging hook and Rosalando tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Rosalando, before Fricke can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryan Fricke!
