Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boston Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barack Obina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obina comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cio da Terra - Pena Branca & Xavantinho e Renato Teixeira kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gracie throws out a loose jab but Obina uses good head movement to avoid it.

Barack Obina showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gracie is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Obina looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
Obina connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gracie moves out of range of the strikes.
Obina throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

I would just about give that final round to Barack Obina.
Well Obina has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
