The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baroni shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Baroni was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Baroni wants to finish this one by submission but Libre is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Baroni.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Libre is trying desperately to improve position.
Libre in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Baroni get's back to his feet.
Libre gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Baroni counters with a nice double leg into side control. Libre won't be happy with that.
Baroni has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Baroni is trying to get an arm triangle but Libre is defending well.
Libre is looking for a sweep.

Libre tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Baroni presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Libre tries to improve his position but Baroni has taken his back! Baroni has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Libre tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Baroni pushes Libre away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
