Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocki Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anderson Tyson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rocki Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tyson postures up in Balboa's guard and throws a big left but Balboa blocks it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee warns Tyson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tyson throws a chopping leg kick but Balboa manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Horrible takedown by Tyson or perhaps it was just good defense by Balboa which made him look bad.

Balboa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tyson keeps working.

Balboa is putting a hurting on Tyson here, landing some big shots from side control.

and Tyson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Balboa dives in and grabs Tyson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tyson pushes down on Balboa's head and hops out.

Balboa pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Balboa controlling the position easily from mount.
Balboa looking to finish Tyson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tyson!

Let's hope that Balboa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Rocki Balboa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Balboa gets the takedown into side control.
Balboa lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tyson down.

Check out the look on Balboa's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Balboa is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tyson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Tyson won't allow Balboa to pass to mount.
Balboa is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Tyson throws the left hand but Balboa avoids the punch easily.

Balboa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tyson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Tyson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Balboa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Balboa has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Balboa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tyson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Balboa drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson Tyson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tyson loads up on a big right hand but Balboa slips the punch.
Tyson throws a hook but Balboa blocks it.
Balboa wants to clinch.
Tyson misses with the combination.
Rocki Balboa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Tyson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Balboa fails with a takedown attempt.
Balboa shoots in but Tyson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tyson looks to land a left hand but Balboa moved out of range nicely.
Balboa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tyson finds it's way round the side to connect with Balboa's head.
Tyson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Balboa sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Anderson Tyson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Balboa shoots for a takedown but Tyson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Anderson Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocki Balboa.
Tyson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tyson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Balboa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tyson somewhat.
Some bone on bone action there as Balboa checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Balboa jabs Tyson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tyson has his takedown stuffed

and Balboa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyson won't be happy with that.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rocki Balboa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Balboa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
