PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pate Paukuttaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Murdock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dr Murdock was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdock looks to score with a jab to the body but Paukuttaja is just out of range.
Murdock moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Murdock misses with a body kick.
Murdock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Paukuttaja defends it nicely.
Paukuttaja misses the shot to the body.
Murdock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Murdock takes the fight into the clinch.
Paukuttaja keeps control of Murdock as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Paukuttaja is trying to break the clinch but Murdock is controlling him.
Paukuttaja landing knees to the head.
Paukuttaja is leaning against Murdock and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Paukuttaja lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Murdock or not.
Murdock looks gassed!
Paukuttaja lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Murdock backwards.
Paukuttaja is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Paukuttaja pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Paukuttaja scores with a nice strike.

Paukuttaja drops Murdock with a beautiful combination! Murdock stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Paukuttaja is looking for the KO!

Murdock is rocked!

It looks like Dr Murdock has been cut.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Paukuttaja engages and cracks Murdock with a massive lead left hook - Murdock tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Paukuttaja is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
