The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ray but Ray pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fury fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ray ducks right into an uppercut from Fury.

Ray clinches up with Fury and pushes him back against the cage.
Fury drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Fury. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fury tries to throw a body punch but Ray avoids it by throwing Fury back against the cage.

Ray has picked Fury up - he's going for a ride! Ray dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Ray is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ray is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Ray is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fury sees it coming and defends easily.
Still in half guard, Ray seems content to control.
Fury wants to get back to full guard.

Ray looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fury tries to roll over but Ray keeps him under control.

Ray has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fury defend it? Ray steps over the head and cranks it - Fury is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ray!
