Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tay Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Let It Rock. The crowd seem to be enjoying Stone's choice of entrance music: One Step Closer by Linkin Park. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Smith misses.
Stone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stone off to one side.

Horrible takedown by Stone or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Smith wants to get back to his feet but Stone is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
