Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simon Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Fernandez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fernandez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fernandez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Fernandez works his way into full mount!
Fernandez lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Fernandez is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jones is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jones flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Fernandez anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jones and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Fernandez slips an arm under Jones chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Fernandez has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Fernandez is squeezing on Jones like an anaconda would it's prey. Jones fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
