Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Evans is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Evans!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Lewis with that takedown attempt.
Lewis tries to clinch but Evans is having none of it.

Lewis misses with a takedown attempt - Evans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Horrible takedown by Evans or perhaps it was just good defense by Lewis which made him look bad.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lewis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Evans pulls his leg out and moves away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anderson Lewis.
I think Evans has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
