Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between King Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayatollah Khomeini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khomeini closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Khomeini pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A close round but Ayatollah Khomeini will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Johnson shoots in and bounces Khomeini off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Khomeini had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Khomeini Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Johnson's back instead.
