Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Masaru Hirai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jims Second (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hirai is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Second is looking to land body kicks.
Hirai is breathing heavily.
Second fails with a takedown attempt.
Second misses with a head kick.
Second circles away from the clinch attempt.
Second throws a leg kick but Hirai sees it coming and checks it nicely.

A head kick misses from Hirai.
Second tried to score with a low kick but Hirai checks it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hirai enables Second to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hirai manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hirai wants to stand and escape but Second is having none of it.
Second throwing strikes from guard but Hirai blocks nicely.
Second has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Second is nestled in close to Hirai, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
