Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Balagtas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and marcus wakelyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from wakelyn. No joy for Balagtas on that attempt.
Balagtas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. wakelyn tries to avoid it but Balagtas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag wakelyn to the ground. wakelyn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
wakelyn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
wakelyn is working for a kimura but Balagtas is defending it quite comfortably.
wakelyn wants to take a breather but Balagtas is having none of it.
wakelyn trying to pass the guard but Balagtas defending well.
Balagtas wants to control but wakelyn is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Balagtas is pressing down on wakelyn's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

wakelyn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Balagtas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. wakelyn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. wakelyn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Balagtas looking for a triangle here. wakelyn is fighting it but it looks tight! Balagtas pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, wakelyn is tapping out - this one is all over!
