Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Kiernan!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagibis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kiernan's waist but Kiernan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hagibis off to one side.
Hagibis misses with a double jab.

Hagibis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hagibis tries to clinch but Kiernan moves away

and Kiernan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hagibis's guard.

Hagibis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hagibis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kiernan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kiernan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hagibis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kiernan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kiernan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kiernan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hagibis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kiernan has managed to get both his arms back between Hagibis's legs - danger averted.
