Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana throws the kick towards the body but Towshom avoids it.
Towshom is looking to clinch but Montana is avoiding it.
Towshom tries to bum rush Montana with a series of wild strikes but Montana uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Montana gets caught flat footed, as Towshom shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Montana is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Towshom dives into side control.
Montana tries to bench press Towshom off him but Towshom keeps the position.
Montana is working hard here to advance position.
Montana is pushing Towshom's head away, looking to escape. Towshom manages to hold on to the position though.
Towshom wants to lay and pray for a moment but Montana keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Thiga Towshom hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Towshom feints a jab promting Montana to slip. Towshom then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Montana slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Montana has Towshom pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Montana pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Towshom tumbling to the mat - Montana dives into Towshom's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Montana drops back, looking for a kneebar! Towshom looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Towshom looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Towshom!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well Towshom has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
