The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulli uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kiragosyan.
Kiragosyan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pulli paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pulli looks to land a right hand but Kiragosyan moved out of range.
Kiragosyan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pulli but Pulli pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kiragosyan shoots in looking for a takedown. Pulli tries to sprawl out of it but Kiragosyan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pulli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Samvel Kiragosyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiragosyan shoots in for a double leg but Pulli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
