Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Revenge by Danger Mouse. The crowd seem to be enjoying Torres's choice of entrance music: It's My Time-Fabulous. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Torres throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Johnson misses with a hook.
Torres lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Torres throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Torres fails in his attempt to clinch.
Torres misses with a two punch combination.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Torres enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Torres manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Torres is retaining full guard.
Torres wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.
Johnson is pushing down on Torres's leg trying to pass to half guard. Torres is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Torres is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Torres is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Johnson pushes down on Torres's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Torres is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Torres is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!
Torres has the hooks in. Johnson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Torres is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Johnson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Torres's arms.
Torres is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Johnson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Johnson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Johnson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Torres has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Johnson lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Torres is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Johnson off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Torres looks gassed!
Torres is trying to remain composed but Johnson is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Johnson wants to control but Torres is keeping busy.
Johnson throwing damaging strikes from the back! Torres could be in trouble here!
Johnson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Torres with him. Torres is trying to defend but Johnson has an arm under the chin now! Torres grimaces and is forced to tap out!
