Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Zorin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reige Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hughes stalks Zorin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zorin's face. Zorin staggers backwards, shaken.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zorin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zorin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hughes's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hughes pushes Zorin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Zorin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Zorin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hughes is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Zorin yanks on the arm and Hughes is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Zorin.
