Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Myoto Lachida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Wylde Rhoads (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachida throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A slow jab from Lachida misses its intended target.
Lachida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wylde Rhoads manages to avoid it.
Lachida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lachida scores with a one two! Wylde Rhoads had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Jake Wylde Rhoads has been cut.
Wylde Rhoads shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lachida but Lachida pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lachida throws a head kick that misses.

Wylde Rhoads feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

No joy there for Lachida, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wylde Rhoads looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Wylde Rhoads is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lachida can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wylde Rhoads has hold of Lachida's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lachida manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lachida, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
