The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Toral's guard.
Jones stands and throws Toral's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Toral tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Toral, who protects the arm well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones throws a strike but Toral avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones has gone for a leg lock! Toral slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jones's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Toral jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Toral gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Toral swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jones throws and elbow that misses. Toral uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Toral!

Jones looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Toral has picked Jones up and slammed him! Jones can't keep hold of the triangle and Toral manages to pass to side control!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Toral wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Toral on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jimmy Jones will probably get the nod.
