Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terry Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wanderlei Rua!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Silva scores with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rua.
Rua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Terry Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wanderlei Rua.
Silva fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Silva drops Rua with a beautiful combination! Rua stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

Rua is rocked!

It looks like Wanderlei Rua has been cut.
Rua walks straight into a right hand from Silva - that's dropped him! Silva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rua from any more punishment! Rua complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
