The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

McErlane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Power sprawls well initially but McErlane persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McErlane is looking to take a break and control but Power is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McErlane wants to get up but he can't break Power's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Power is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! McErlane rolls with it to try and escape but Power cranks on the arm and McErlane is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
