Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Lipponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller thuds his right hand into Lipponen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Miller is looking to clinch but Lipponen is avoiding it.
Matt Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miller has managed to clinch.
Miller doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Lipponen softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Lipponen blocking some punches.
Miller misses with a hook to the ribs.
Miller has a couple of punches blocked by Lipponen.
Miller goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Miller using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lipponen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A nice right hand lands inside from Lipponen.
Lipponen blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Lipponen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lipponen slips a jab from Miller.

Miller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lipponen!

Lipponen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Miller.
Lipponen can't escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller breaks from Lipponen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Miller lands with some strikes.
Lipponen blocking the ground and pound.
Lipponen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Miller seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lipponen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lipponen moves into full guard.
Miller wants to control from the top but Lipponen keeps moving.
Miller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lipponen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.
Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lipponen is trying to maintain the position but Miller is very close to passing his half guard.

Miller content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Lipponen has locked up a guillotine! Lipponen's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Miller is holding on here and Lipponen must be using up a lot of energy. Miller has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Lipponen gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
