Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Craig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Craig throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Machida takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Machida connects with an inside leg kick.
Machida moves out of range as Craig strikes.
Craig circles away from the clinch attempt.
Machida bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Craig swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Craig throws a right and a left that Machida avoids nicely.
Craig throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Craig fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Machida looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Craig goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Craig wants to break the clinch but can't.
Craig is trying to break the clinch but Machida is controlling him.
Machida throws a knee to the head but misses.

Machida pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Craig lands a jab.

Machida rushes Craig and presses him up against the cage.
Machida manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Machida is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Craig tries to break the clinch but Machida is controlling the position.
Craig tries to break free but Machida pushes him back against the cage.
Machida misses with a knee strike.
Machida prevents Craig from breaking the clinch.

Craig really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Machida's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Craig just misses with a punch to the body.

Machida tries to close the distance and clinch but Craig swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Craig misses with an uppercut.
Machida wants to clinch up but Craig keeps it at a distance.
Machida cracks the inside of Craig's front leg.
Craig lands with a nice combination. Machida backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Lyoto Machida has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Craig fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Machida throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Machida pivots, looking for a leg kick but Craig is out of range and Machida settles back down.

Craig lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Craig closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Machida! Craig dives in looking to finish! Machida is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
