The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scaletti dodges the punch combination from Molotov.
Molotov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Molotov throws a sloppy head kick and Scaletti moves out of range easily.
Andrei Molotov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Molotov explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Scaletti shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Molotov's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Molotov is looking to stand up but Scaletti isn't so interested in that idea.

Scaletti has gone for a leg lock! Molotov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Scaletti's guard.
Molotov wants to stand but Scaletti has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Scaletti had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Molotov defends it easily.

Molotov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scaletti has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Molotov has managed to get both his arms back between Scaletti's legs - danger averted.

Scaletti is looking for a triangle here but Molotov uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Molotov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Scaletti to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Molotov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Scaletti pulls down on the head and he's put Molotov to sleep! This one is all over!
