PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rowan Clowsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid comes into the arena with Go to sleep blaring out of the sound system. Clowsley is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fort Minor Remember the Name (Hardstyle remix). Rowan Clowsley is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid throws a nice looking combination but Clowsley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kid looks to land a left hand but Clowsley moved out of range nicely.
Kid pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kid jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kid tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Clowsley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kid as he jumps to the side.

Clowsley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kid avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Clowsley.

Kid is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Clowsley pulls his head out easily.
Kid has hold of Clowsley's hands but Clowsley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kid works his way to full guard. Good work.

Kid is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Clowsley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kid has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Clowsley has managed to get both his arms back between Kid's legs - danger averted.

Kid is looking for a triangle but Clowsley pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kid is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Clowsley is aware though and is defending well.

Clowsley is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kid has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Clowsley is looking to defend but Kid has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Clowsley! Kid pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Clowsley taps out and this one is all over!
