Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Harmonic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damien Sousa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harmonic is looking to clinch but Sousa is avoiding it.
Harmonic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Harmonic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Sousa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harmonic keeps working.

Harmonic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sousa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sousa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harmonic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sousa has managed to get both his arms back between Harmonic's legs - danger averted.

Harmonic has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sousa is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Harmonic.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Harmonic closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sousa makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sousa.
Harmonic is looking to work some ground and pound but Sousa has wrist control.

Sousa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harmonic manages to get himself to full guard.
