PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Horsfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Kumerle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kumerle is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sanjao Sam Moju Ružicu. Horsfield has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kumerle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Horsfield's guard.
Horsfield is breathing heavily.
Kumerle lands a couple of digs.
Kumerle working some strikes from top position.
Horsfield knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kumerle on the ground.
Kumerle throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kumerle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kumerle passes into half guard.
Horsfield is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kumerle scores with a couple of nice shots.
Kumerle works his way into side control.
Horsfield is trying to escape the position but Kumerle is controlling the position.
Kumerle is working Horsfield over with some ground and pound from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Horsfield takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Kumerle content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
I looks like Kumerle might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Kumerle working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Kumerle scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Horsfield to see if he's OK.

Kumerle lands a big left to the face of Horsfield, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Kumerle and another - Horsfield is out! Kumerle stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
