Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Otway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Otway has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Otway seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcos Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Otway swings for the body but Barbosa moves out of range.
Barbosa walks into a stiff left hand from Otway.
Otway paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Otway jabs Barbosa right on the nose. Barbosa blinks but takes it well.
Barbosa ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Otway is looking to clinch but Barbosa is avoiding it.
Nice shot lands for Otway.
Otway thows a left - swing and a miss!
Otway misses with a straight right.
Otway wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Barbosa shoots in looking for a takedown but Otway manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barbosa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Barbosa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Otway displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barbosa.
John Otway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Barbosa.

Otway tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barbosa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Barbosa takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Otway's jab looks to have found its range, popping Barbosa under the eye.
Barbosa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Otway scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Horrible takedown by Barbosa or perhaps it was just good defense by Otway which made him look bad.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Otway's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Barbosa needs to keep his hands up - Otway had a free shot at his head there.
Barbosa has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Otway smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Otway unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Barbosa! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Otway is unloading with more strikes now! Barbosa drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
