Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colt Westbrook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colt Westbrook struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Colt Westbrook is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Westbrook lands but Morgan takes it in his stride.

It looks like Dexter Morgan has been cut.
Westbrook misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Morgan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Westbrook napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Westbrook is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Morgan has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Morgan throwing strikes but Westbrook manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Morgan is looking to regain half guard here but Westbrook keeps moving and retains side control.

Westbrook postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Morgan to stand up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morgan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Westbrook quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Westbrook avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Morgan.
Morgan wants to free his trapped foot but Westbrook is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Westbrook is in trouble now - Morgan has advanced to mount!

Morgan has control of Westbrook's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Westbrook regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Morgan is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Morgan extends the arm and Westbrook is forced to tap!
