Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karol Szczery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Szczery might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Konkwista - Walcz!. Karol Szczery has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a nice looking body shot.
Szczery uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.

Szczery throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Szczery is in Silva's guard.

Silva throws a right hand that Szczery ducks under and follows up with a left that Szczery also avoids with ease.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Szczery wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Szczery is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.
Szczery stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Szczery's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Karol Szczery.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
