The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mercer.
Mercer on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Andersen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mercer.
Andersen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mercer misses with a hook.
Mercer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Andersen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mercer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Andersen closes the distance and clinches.
Andersen has Mercer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mercer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Andersen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mercer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mercer slips a nice elbow through Andersen's hands, connecting with Andersen's forehead.
