Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russell comes to the cage accompanied by British Marching Tune - The British Grenadiers. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Russell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, John Clark!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark looks to throw the jab but Russell is out of range.
Russell slips under a jab.
Russell throws a lazy uppercut
and Clark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Russell tries to clinch up but Clark circles away and keeps his distance.
Jack Russell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Russell scores a takedown into full mount!
Clark doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?
Russell tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Russell goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Clark turns into him and now he's in Russell's guard.
Russell wants to sweep here but Clark controlling him for the moment.

Russell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Clark seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Russell does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Clark is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Russell to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Russell shrugs it off.

Clark is working for a guillotine from mount but Russell frees his head quite easily.

Russell's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Russell is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Clark reverses the position - he's now on top in Russell's guard.
Clark postures up in Russell's guard and throws a big left but Russell blocks it.
Russell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Clark is controlling him.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Clark. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Clark is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Russell goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Clark!
