A fine choice. Emerson has chosen Laurent Wolf - No Stress as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gabriel Emerson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Emerson pushes him off.
Diaz wants to clinch.
Emerson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Emerson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Diaz lands a jab to Emerson's midsection.
The fight stays on the outside here - Diaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz looks to land a combination but Emerson avoids it well.
Emerson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diaz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Emerson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diaz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
