PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Phenom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jr Pasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Phenom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jr Pasky!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pasky fails to land the takedown.
Phenom misses with an uppercut.
Pasky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pasky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Phenom steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pasky.
Phenom connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pasky's hands.

It looks like Jr Pasky has been cut.
Phenom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Phenom lands with a right hand.
Pasky fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pasky works over Phenom's head and body with a nice combination.
Some wild striking there from Phenom.
Horrible takedown by Pasky or perhaps it was just good defense by Phenom which made him look bad.
Marcus Phenom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jr Pasky.
Phenom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Phenom thows a left - swing and a miss!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pasky fails with an attempt to clinch.

Phenom drops Pasky with a beautiful combination! Pasky stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Phenom is looking for the KO!

Pasky is rocked!
Phenom drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Pasky's head, knocking him out cold! Phenom is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
