The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavalcante pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Robinson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cavalcante.
No luck for Cavalcante with that takedown attempt.

Robinson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cavalcante is breathing heavily.

Robinson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Robinson uses his free foot to push down on Cavalcante's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cavalcante.

Robinson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Cavalcante is surviving well by controlling Robinson's body position as best he can.

Robinson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Robinson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Robinson extends the arm and Cavalcante is forced to tap!
