Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JC Sprout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aengus O Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sprout comes to the cage accompanied by Diggi Dis - Bad Dudes - Forced Enlightenment. O Donnell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropkick Murphys - Worker's Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Aengus O Donnell told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sprout takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
O Donnell takes the fight into the clinch.
Sprout lands a shoulder strike.
Sprout is pressed up against the cage. O Donnell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sprout down to the mat. Sprout avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
O Donnell shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. O Donnell showed some decent athleticism there.
O Donnell throwing shots but Sprout is blocking nicely.
Sprout regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from O Donnell.
Sprout wants to sweep here but O Donnell controlling him for the moment.

O Donnell is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sprout is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sprout has escaped and now he's on top!

JC Sprout has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
O Donnell ducks under a wild hook from Sprout.
O Donnell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than O Donnell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sprout wants to control but O Donnell is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aengus O Donnell dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
O Donnell shoots in looking for a takedown. Sprout tries to sprawl out of it but O Donnell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sprout manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sprout connects with a good right hand that stumbles O Donnell. O Donnell circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jab, jab by Sprout - just one landing.
Sprout looks to land a left hand but O Donnell moved out of range nicely.
O Donnell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than O Donnell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
O Donnell wants to control the pace but Sprout is squirming around nicely.
