Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Withers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think St Pierre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Rush. The crowd seem to be enjoying Withers's choice of entrance music: War Is My Destiny. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre defending well as Withers loads up on a big left hand.
St Pierre throws a head kick that misses.
St Pierre leaves Withers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Withers with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Withers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
St Pierre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
St Pierre misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Withers.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Withers dives in and grabs St Pierre's left leg, looking for a takedown. St Pierre pushes down on Withers's head and hops out.
Withers avoids the head kick by St Pierre.
St Pierre takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

St Pierre throws a right and a left that Withers avoids nicely.

St Pierre scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Withers manages to mount him!

St Pierre in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Withers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of St Pierre's face.
This has been an exciting period of action!
St Pierre is desperately trying to improve his position but Withers has a good base and remains in mount.

St Pierre's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Withers jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… St Pierre is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by St Pierre and Withers has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Withers connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused St Pierre some visible discomfort.
St Pierre looks to move to half guard but instead Withers has passed into mount! Damn!
Withers breaks from St Pierre's wrist control and lands an elbow.
St Pierre is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Withers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as St Pierre is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Withers with the ground and pound from mount.
Withers drops a big elbow. That's hurt St Pierre! More shots from Withers and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
