Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King God (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Foreman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, King God!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

God shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than God was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
God working Foreman over with strikes here.

Foreman defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from God.
God trying to control but Foreman is having none of it.
Foreman is looking to improve his position but God isn't that keen on the idea.
Foreman is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
God unloads with some shots from mount but Foreman bucks and avoids them well.

God lands with some strikes.
Foreman doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?
Foreman is trying to stand.
Foreman can't escape the position.
God throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
God landing punches.
Foreman holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as God tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Foreman wants to hold on but God pushes him away.
God thowing shots but they're missing.
God avoids the attempt from Foreman to control.

Foreman squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Foreman holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as God tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
God fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Foreman is in all sorts of trouble here.
God tries to control but Foreman wriggling away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Foreman tries to reverse the position but God maintains control.
Foreman bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Foreman wants to control from the top but God keeps moving.
Foreman prevents God from getting back to his feet.
God wants to sweep but no luck.
God is trying to hold Foreman in close to prevent damage but Foreman has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foreman is trying to control. God wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Foreman controlling the pace.
God gets full guard.
God looks gassed!
God is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Foreman is working God over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

God is working an open guard so Foreman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Foreman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches God napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Foreman wants to control but God is keeping him busy.
Foreman controls the position.
Foreman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Foreman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear God down.

A close round but King God will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



God shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than God was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Foreman tries to lock up and control but God gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
God looking to control but Foreman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Foreman regains half guard.

Foreman manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Foreman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
God is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Foreman controlling the position for now.

Foreman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
God in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Foreman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Foreman has control of God's left arm, preventing God from doing any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

God must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
God wants to control from the top but Foreman keeps moving.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
God would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
God wants to pass the guard but Foreman is keeping the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Sam Foreman wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Foreman lands a leg kick that knocks God off balance momentarily.

Sam Foreman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The referee warns God that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
God tries to lock up and control but Foreman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Foreman lands a nice short elbow.

God is looking to escape.

God looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Foreman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Foreman tries to pass to full mount but God defends it.
God wants to get back to full guard.
God is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Foreman scores with a couple of nice shots.
Foreman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam Foreman dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Sam Foreman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Foreman is really struggling to control God but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Foreman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

God is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Foreman defends well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Foreman is working God over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

God working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Foreman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Foreman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Foreman is working God over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

God is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Foreman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
