PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yrjo Jarvinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nukem comes to the cage accompanied by Meet the Monster by Five Finger Death Punch. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvinen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nukem manages to avoid it.
Jarvinen tried to score with a low kick but Nukem checks it.
Nukem shoots in and drives through. Jarvinen sprawls well.
Nukem throws a sloppy head kick and Jarvinen moves out of range easily.
Yrjo Jarvinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nukem scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Jarvinen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nukem looks a forlorn figure.

Jarvinen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jarvinen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nukem is now in Jarvinen's guard. A big mistake from Jarvinen there, giving up the dominant position!
